Return to Normal Enrollment Process Coming Soon

Virginia Medicaid will soon return to our normal enrollment process for health care coverage, and we need your help to spread the word. All Medicaid members need to update their contact information so they continue to receive high quality health care coverage. The normal enrollment process stopped during the public health emergency, and all members continued to receive health coverage even if their eligibility changed. While we do not yet know when the public health emergency will end, we are preparing now to ensure that we can contact current Medicaid members with this important health coverage paperwork.

Members can update their information in one of three ways:

1. Online at commonhelp.virginia.gov, or
2. By calling Cover Virginia at 1-855-242-8282, or
3. By calling your local Department of Social Services.

Virginia Medicaid has an advocate toolkit with posters, flyers, fact sheets, and FAQs in English, Spanish, and other languages to help guide you through this process. Please help us spread the word and share these materials on your websites and social media accounts.
