Outreach Underway for Letter Sent in Error to Some Members
Some Medicaid members recently received a letter from our agency with the title “Premium Payment (Capitation Fees) for Managed Care Organization and Estate Recovery.” We sent this letter in error. We are in the process of sending follow-up letters to all of these members letting them know they can disregard the initial notice. We also are assisting any members who took action because of the letter that may have affected their health coverage.
If you are a Medicaid member who received this letter and took steps to cancel your health coverage, please contact us right away. We want to help you restore your health care coverage. You do not need to reapply, and we will cover any medical costs you had after you canceled.
Please call us at 1-855-242-8282. Select option 8 and explain that you received this letter. It is important that you contact us no later than December 31, 2021, to make sure you have no gaps in your health coverage.
