Mental illness and addiction affect people of all ages and backgrounds. Virginia Medicaid covers treatment to help members avoid a crisis, as well as services to support recovery.
Treatment options include outpatient and inpatient care, and medications shown by research to help people addicted to prescription drugs or other opioids.
