Jeff Lunardi

Jeff serves as the Chief Deputy Director at DMAS, supporting the Director on all aspects of agency initiatives. He is also responsible for the agency’s legislative affairs. Prior to joining DMAS, Jeff was the Executive Director of Virginia’s Joint Commission on Health Care, a standing legislative commission focused on state health care policy. In the role Jeff oversaw a team of researchers and managed all aspects of Commission studies, reports, and operations. Prior to that Jeff held several roles in oversight and program evaluation with Virginia’s Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission, and the US Department of Education, Office of Inspector General. Jeff received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of William and Mary.
