If you are in one of those situations, you may be enrolled in the Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus program. You will receive a Care Coordinator who will work with you to ensure you will receive the care you need.

Open Enrollment 2021 Has Begun
Having a health care plan that meets your needs is important. During Medicaid Open Enrollment you can change your health plan for any reason. For some Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus members, open enrollment starts October 1 and ends December 31, 2021. For others, open enrollment starts November 1 and ends December 31, 2021. We will send you a letter by mail with your dates and plan selection packet.
Outreach Underway for Letter Sent in Error to Some Members
Some Medicaid members recently received a letter from our agency with the title “Premium Payment (Capitation Fees) for Managed Care Organization and Estate Recovery.” We sent this letter in error. If you are a Medicaid member who received this letter and took steps to cancel your health coverage, please contact us right away. We want to help you restore your health care coverage.

Expedited Enrollment for Out-of-State Providers
In response to the impact of Hurricane Ida in Louisiana, the Louisiana Medicaid Office has implemented an expedited provider enrollment process for out-of-state providers to receive reimbursement for services provided to Louisiana Medicaid recipients who have temporarily relocated or evacuated to another state.
