The Smiles For Children (effective July 1, 2005) program provides coverage for diagnostic, preventive, restorative/surgical procedures, as well as orthodontia services for Medicaid, FAMIS and FAMIS Plus children. The program also provides coverage for limited medically necessary oral surgery services for adults (age 21 and older). Doral Dental USA is the single dental benefits administrator that will coordinate the delivery of all Smiles For Children dental services.
